Jesus is the True Temple Where We Dwell With God

Jesus judges and cleanses the temple, signalling that He Himself replaces the temple as the true place where God and humans are together, and where forgiveness is ACCOMPLISHED. His resurrection from the dead would be a sign - a miraculous sign that caused belief that this is who He is and this is what He did on the cross. As people began to see these signs they want to make something of Jesus, but Jesus only entrusts Himself to God, His Father - submitting to the Father's plan to glorify Him - through His suffering on the cross.
