Respond to the Word of the Good Shepherd and Live

Just as sheep respond to the voice of their own good shepherd, those who belong to Jesus are those who respond to His Word. His sheep receive a life that really is life -even through pain and loss and want: knowing and enjoying Jesus' relationship with God the Father. Jesus has given us His Word, which is the voice of the Good Shepherd, and sent us into the world with it. As people respond to it as the voice of their Shepherd, He gathers them as His sheep and He gives life to, guards and nourishes their souls.
