God Makes a Way to Dwell with a Sinful People in Holiness

What do we mean when we say that God is a Covenant God?
Why should we be grateful to hear that He is a covenant God?
Which covenant promises had God already fulfilled before rescuing His people from Egypt, and why would this be important for His people to hear?
God will display His holiness and might as He judges the people of Egypt for their harshness with God's "son". Why should hearing of God's holiness be a comfort to us? Why should hearing of God's holiness instil great fear in us?
Exodus is the history of God rescuing His people from the slavery an oppressive ruler. What is the greater slavery that God would rescue His people from?
God did not simply rescue His people from slavery to be free agents, for what purpose would He rescue His people?

How did Jesus accomplish in full what the Exodus accomplished in part?
