For the Joy of the Church, Continue in the Gospel

As Jordan Vetro is installed as TAC's new Associate Pastor, we look at Christ's charge to him in the Word of God. The unchanging Word of the Shepherd is what His people will always need to protect and encourage and shape them until He returns. It is as trustworthy, unchanging, sufficient, and good as the Lord who spoke it. Jordan, do not move on from it, but move deeper into it. We'll have to actively reject longings to be led and fed with other things; trusting our Lord even more than our own hearts. Church, we treasure the Lord by treasuring His Word, and by longing to be lead by His Word, and longing to be fed with His Word.
