Shown to Be Worthy, the Lamb Turns now to be Slain

Jesus was the fulfillment and embodiment of every word that God had spoken and everything that God had done.  The first part of His ministry was very public and with it, He demonstrated in front of multitudes of witnesses that He was the One promised and sent from God to redeem sinners.  God glorified Him for those three years by demonstrating that Jesus was the sacrifice worthy of and sufficient for saving sinners.  Shown to be the worthy Lamb, Jesus then sets His eyes firmly and resolutely on laying down His life for sinners.
