- This is Mark’s first introduction to us about what could be found in a typical synagogue during Jesus’ day. What is surprisingly NOT there? What is surprisingly there?
- What does it mean for Jesus to teach with authority?
- Would would it have meant for the preachers for Jesus to properly teach with authority even though they were not the Messiah?
- This doesn’t seem to be the type of battle Satan wants to be in. What is the ordinary way that Satan attacks the world and the church?
- What is the Bible teaching us when it mentions this kind of demon activity almost nowhere other than with Christ and the Apostles?
